Ecommerce Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the day to day management and performance of the company’s ecommerce website

• Develop and execute the ecommerce trading calendar, including product launches, promotions and seasonal activity

• Monitor revenue, conversion, average order value, customer acquisition and retention performance

• Use customer and website data to identify opportunities to improve the online experience

• Partner with brand, creative and marketing teams to deliver campaigns and product launches

• Manage onsite merchandising, product presentation and promotional activity

• Work closely with performance marketing, CRM and retention teams

• Support email, SMS, loyalty and customer lifecycle initiatives

• Coordinate with operations and supply chain teams to manage inventory availability and fulfillment priorities

• Manage relationships with ecommerce platforms, agencies and technology partners

• Produce regular reporting and recommendations for senior leadership

• Identify and implement improvements to ecommerce systems, processes and reporting

Candidate Profile

• Several years of ecommerce experience within cosmetics, beauty, personal care or another consumer brand

• Experience managing a direct to consumer ecommerce channel with revenue accountability

• Strong understanding of ecommerce trading, merchandising and conversion optimization

• Experience working with Shopify or a comparable ecommerce platform

• Comfortable analyzing ecommerce data and turning insights into commercial actions

• Understanding of performance marketing, CRM, email and SMS channels

• Strong project management and cross functional communication skills

• Experience supporting product launches and promotional calendars

• Able to balance strategic thinking with hands on execution

The final base salary will depend on experience, qualifications and the scope of the successful candidate’s background.
