Mackie Myers is recruiting a Director of FP&A for a fast growing food and beverage company. This confidential leadership role will own financial planning and analysis while acting as a strategic partner to the CFO, executive team and operational leadership.

The Director will build a forward looking finance function that provides clearer insight into performance, cash requirements and future growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long range planning
• Own management reporting and executive performance analysis
• Develop detailed revenue, margin, cash flow and scenario models
• Partner with sales, marketing, supply chain and operations leadership
• Analyze pricing, trade spend, customer profitability and gross margin
• Support board, investor and lender reporting
• Evaluate strategic investments and growth initiatives
• Improve financial systems, planning tools and data quality
• Lead and develop the FP&A team
• Support transactions, fundraising or other strategic activity where required

Candidate Profile

• Significant FP&A or strategic finance leadership experience
• Food, beverage or broader consumer goods experience preferred
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of revenue, gross margin, inventory and working capital
• Experience supporting executive teams, boards or investors
• Able to challenge assumptions while remaining commercially constructive
• Strong team leadership and stakeholder management skills
• MBA, CFA or similar qualification would be beneficial

The final base salary will depend on experience, qualifications and the scope of the successful candidate’s background.
